We have two collections of McDonalds Memorabilia. We will consider all offers Please contact us if you would like more information.
Lot A consists of mostly toys dating in the mid to late 90's there are some older toys mixed and possibly some other fast food restaurant toys as well. The toys are for the most part unorganized. We do not know how many toys there are for sure propably less than 1000 toys there are also some clean paper products such as Happy Meal boxes.
Lot B is a huge collection containing lots of paper products/items, glass ware, plates, 1000's of toys organized by set ranging from 1980-2000~ the oldest sets are opened and may not be complete sets but the majority of toys are MIP, toy displays, a 101 Dalmation box set still in shipping box, a McDonaldland playset in box, McDonald restaurant playsets, birthday prize premiums, employee/store pins, Christmas Ornaments, Kids Kitchen playset (missing some food), McDonald playsets sold at Walmart, a McDonalds flag, a Banner, some McDonalds Nascar stuff, the back of a seat? it has the McDonaldland characters on it, VHS tapes and many more Misc. items.

| | I am interested in selling a huge collection of fast food toys from all of the major chains, some of them dating back to the early 1980’s, and covering up through about 2008.
I used to work in a middle school library, where we amassed the collection and had it on display. It started simply as a fun way for the kids to connect to the library as a fun and interesting place to be. The concept was that if we could get them in to the library to check out the toys, they might actually check out a book or two as well.
We teased and badgered the kids into bringing us their toys as fines for overdue books, or bribes for us to help them with homework or projects. The toys were placed on display throughout the library so as to tie in with the dewey decimal system in the stacks. For instance, the dinosaur related toys were displayed over the section where books on dinosaurs would be found.
This eventually blossomed into a project involving teaching the kids research and categorizing skills, database maintenance, etc. A huge database was developed through the use of reference materials and internet searches with virtually all of the toys offered by each of the fast food chains over the years recorded and the toys were checked off as we received them.
Over the eleven years that we worked on the collection, we amassed an amazing number of toys – thousands and thousands of toys. The students were interested in making an attempt to get into the Guinness Book of Records once the collection was completely organized and recorded.
Our original plan was to sell the duplicates on eBay or develop a web site to sell them with the proceeds going to purchase the odd toy that was missing from our show collection, but we never got quite that far, so the duplicates were sorted in baggies and labeled and stored in boxes in a spare classroom.
This was all going extremely well until the librarian and I both transferred to open a new high school. The new staff at the old school was not prepared to continue the project, and so the collection was taken down, packaged up and brought along to the new school. As it turns out there is no feasible way to display the collection at the new school, and now it needs a new home. Unfortunately, the database that we spent so much time and effort on has been lost in the move, so we do not have a listing of exactly what is there anymore, but we do have many pictures of the library displays.
We would love to use this as a fundraiser and sell the collection as a whole to someone who would enjoy it as much as we did. There are approximately 50 moving boxes full of toys from all of the major chains, all labeled and in sets, many in the original packaging.
If selling the collection as a whole proves to be unrealistic, we would be willing to sell the toys individually or in sets.
